The news this week featured an article of particular interest to the growing podcast community.

TheGuardian.com posted a great article “Podcasting's Netflix moment: the global battle for domination”.

In it, they affirm that podcasting is here to stay. Worldwide, according to the statistics provided by Ovum.informa.com, the number of people who actively listen to at least one podcast per month is in the forecast to grow to 1.8 billion by 2023. That is astounding!

Apple has dominated the field for some time, but recently Spotify has been making new acquisitions, and now Netflix is gearing up for the competition. Time will tell who will dominate the field!
